Returns, Refunds and Exchanges

Damages:

Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage you should make note of it when signing for delivery. If your item(s) do arrived damaged, please send photos to returns@modernsideboards.com and we will process a claim on your behalf. All sales on clearance items are final as we do not accept returns on these items.

Factory Defects

If a product arrives with a manufacturing defect, we require customers to report the issue within a specified timeframe of 48-72 hours of delivery with clear photographic evidence. We will then coordinate with the supplier to determine whether a replacement part, full replacement, or refund is appropriate, following the supplier’s policies.

Freight Damage

Customers are instructed to inspect shipments upon arrival. If there is visible damage, we request that they document it with photos and note it on the delivery receipt. We then file a claim with the freight carrier and work with the supplier to facilitate a replacement or repair in accordance with their terms. Customers are required to report the issue within 48-72 hours of delivery

Cancellations & Refunds:

All orders canceled after 48 hours are subject to a $20 administration fee, whether or not your order has shipped. If your order has shipped, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for actual return shipping charges. Refunds will only be issued to the same payment method that you used when placing your order.

If you decide you no longer want an item, you are responsible for return shipping and potential restocking fees, as per supplier guidelines. Returned items must be in their original packaging and unused condition to qualify for a refund. The return request must be made within 30 days of the delivery date.
